Just a little nosey into my room. I'm definetly one for room decor posts and take alot of inspiration from other blogger's similair posts. I'm forever saving pictures from around the interweb that I think will inspire me for a bit of room re-decoration. You can just type in 'bedroom' to we heart it and find thousands of inspirational images. At least every two weeks I take all my ornaments off the furniture and re-arrange them to give my room a new lease of life. Hopefully you take some inspiration and if you have done or will do a similair post then please link me so I can take inspiration from you.
Monday
Saturday
A patient day all round
Tee - Orange Circle
Dress(worn as skirt) - Topshop
Belt - Primark
Lipstick - Topshop; Rio Rio
Don't you just love when you moan about having nothing to wear but when you have all day to get ready and you take your time, you end up coming out with an outfit you like and haven't worn before?
Because I had a day of work and wasn't doing anything till half five, I was able to look in my wardrobe and trial and error things rather than going back to the same old outfits. That's why I don't do daily outfit posts because I normally wear things over and over(inbetween washes of course). Because I have to wear clothes of the brand I work for and normally just leggings and something basic for college, I don't normally experiment with what clothes I have got because I plan what I will wear the night before. But on days like today, I loved just being able to play around a little. It's nothing spectacular but I haven't paired this together before so it's like wearing something new.
Monday
A midi season for me
Top - Miss Selfridge
Skirt - Miss Selfridge (sale)
Just a quick cheeky outfit today as I didn't really get many good photo's of this outfit. I wore this the other week when it was appropriate. Because now, the sun has gone in and it is just chucking it down every single day. But I wanted to share it because I am just in love with anything midi at the moment, I can't wait till summer really does kick in as I have collected three midi things in the last month.
I had the longest shift at work today, 9 - 6 but it actually went pretty quickly. I treated myself to a foot long sub for my lunch and then came home and munched on a bag of chips, oh well. Posts are few and fare between but when I finish college and the only thing I have togot to is work, then I can give hobbies alot more attention, like blogging. I really don't want to bore you within an essay on my day, I like the writing part to be kept short and simple so I just hope you all have a lovely week :)
Sunday
In my eyes, a perfect match
Tee - Smut Clothing(here)
Dress - Topshop(here)
My day;
Today wasn't too exciting. I had work, as I always do but I enjoy my job even though I complain about it. I find it wierd how I would always say I love my job but when I am there the last hour drags and I can't wait to get out *confused*. I'm just counting down the days till I leave college now. I'm not going to go to uni, I just can't wait to be done with education and get on with my life. There is so much more I want to do that doesn't envolve work and education. I don't want to get to 70 and regret not doing things.
The outfit;
I saw this cropped tee on Lucy's blog and had seen the dress the day before and wanted them to become an item. I also like how the vicar dog collar adds something to just another cross tee. And the colour of the dress is a purpley specked colour, I have it in black also. I like the fit on me, and I am really getting into midi skirts and dresses this S/S.
I don't feel I say it often enough... the comments you leave me are just some of the lovliest lines. I thank each and everyone of you who comments, follows and actually takes the time to sit and read my little blog. It really does mean alot, and I don't feel I express this enough. So thank you kindly.
Saturday
The wind, sky and sun are giggling
I had a few photographs on my camera that were of a variety of outfits that haven't been blogged about. I just may have not got other great photo's or they just may have not made it on the blog but I thought I would share them. I like posts like this as they show a variety of outfits all in one space, which inspires me for a number of outfits all at the same time.
It's easter tomorrow but just a normal day for me. I like to remember what easter is all about, but it has been driven away from the true meaning so much, I guess that's the way the world is going though. But I'm not going to reject chocolate and I hope you all have a lovely day and stuff your faces.
I also have two items up for sale on eBay at the moment, and more to come (see them here).
The title of my post is a lyric *original of me* from a song I adore and that was a freebie on my phone. I just love the lyrics and wanted to share so here you go, if you fancy a listen.
Sunday
Simply red and black
Simply Red Tee - My Mother's
Skirt - Topshop
Lipstick in Rio Rio - Topshop
The Outfit;
I promise you this skirt is washed and that I do wear other things. I got this tee of my mum as she just wore it for lounging. I chopped the sleeves off and just tucked it in. I wore this a week ago and the same day bought a black midi dress, found my new fave colour. Black is probably not the best colour to wear when it's getting warmer and becoming more 'summery'. Oh well!
My Day;
As I said I wore this last week but today I just had work, and I am helping out in the pub at 7 tonight. Oh what an exciting life I lead as a 17 year old. But I can't wait to turn 18 then feel my life will become much more exciting. Most of my friends are 18 so like to spend their weekends out, I wish I could join them, for something to do. But I do have work alot over this week to keep me busy, so hopefully can catch a few photo's if this lovely weather keeps up (good for lighting). Hope your all having a lovely weekend.
Plus.. thank you for getting me to just over 250 followers! I want to do a giveaway.. but people have different interests and likes so unsure what all of you will enjoy... any ideas?
Mum, I can't wash up, I have a blog to run
Shirt - Miss Selfridge
Skirt - Topshop
The outfit;
I wear this skirt a little too much, but it's a brilliant basic. This shirt is in the sale at the moment for £12, which annoyed me but I got it for that price on uniform so no money lost. It's not the most exciting outfit, I will say that myself, but I like wearing shirts because I think they can be really effective, perhaps with a cheeky dicky bow too.
My day;
I had work for 4 hours today which isn't too bad, I love my job anyway. I went shopping yesterday and did a little shop today too, I got three new items of clothes so lots of outfit pictures to come. I got my mum a body butter, slab of choolate and the most amazing invention ever; it's a LUSH washing up fairy on a stick *amazing*. Nothing really exciting to tell about today, I'm just waiting out the next two weeks until the easter holidays.
I am obviously joking about the title by the way, I just saw something similair on a tumblr picture and couldn't think of another title. It's mother's day and I would love to let my mum put her feet up, but she has to work. Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there.
Saturday
A colour match
Skirt - Topshop
Lipstick in RioRio - Topshop
The outfit;
As soon as I saw this denim shirt I thought that it would look great with something bright red. I'm not really a fan of the long sleeved denim shirts but wanted one to pop under jumpers, so this one was perfect and I loved that it is a lighter shade of denim. The lipstick is a really bright red, which when my paler friend tried on she thought it didn't suit her, but it's always worth having a try. I just love the shade of the shirt and the lipstick and I think the colours work really well together.
My day;
I hate to bore you about the weather, but where I am it really is lovely and I hope it stays like this from now until summer ends. It was perfect as I went into town with my little sister. She scoffed down a Subway(she's 7), we shopped around a little but I didn't find much, I picked up the latest issue of Company magazine, I adore it's new look as I didn't read it before because it didn't really catch my eye as a magazine that was up my street but now I love it. Then we sat on a wall in the sun drinking slushes, well she ate it with her hand as most children would and then we came back home and went to the park. I love having days of college and work to spend time with her.
Monday
American apparel velvet skirt
Top - Topshop
Velvet Skirt - American Apparel
Shoes - Topshop
I really do love this velvet skirt. When velvet first started trending I wasn't a fan, I never thought I would find a piece I liked but then I thought a good basic skirt that's good quality would be a great piece to invest in. This skirt and a denim shirt (that will appear soon) are my first ever items from American Apparel. I love the shop's visual's and it's interior and even though I just see what they sell as 'good basics', those basics can be matched with so many things. I'm also eyeing us some of the watches they sell.
I might aswell give you a tour of my home as I take pictures in a variety of places. Outside can give me a few good shots then indoor's can give me ok shots and one pretty clear one so it's varying on the weather. So apologies for the random photo's in a every room in my house.
Wednesday
Primary School Shoes
Shoes - Topshop, exact link here.
These were in my last wishlist so I had kept my eye out for them in the shops as I didn't want to take the risk of buying them online and then maybe not liking them or them not fitting. In the shop I had decided not to get them but whilst in the que at the tills I went back for them and I'm so pleased I did.
They are so comfortable, apart from they rub the back's of my ankles but I'm just wearing them in. I had been wanting some creepers but found the sole's too large for me and I thought the sole on these was perfect and I prefered the 'primary school' style of them. I think that in the summer they will look too cute with those little crochet style socks you can get. Again like the ones in Primary school where you rolled them down and it looked like you had a doughnut around you ankle. But I just think they are too cute, and at £34 I thought it wasn't too bad for Topshop.
If you know of any similair styled shoes please link them in the comments as I really like the style of them.
